Nick Jonas takes the podium at the National Press Club Luncheon in Washington, D.C. on Monday morning (August 24).
The 16-year-old musician spoke to a room full of mostly teen girls about his struggle with Type 1 Diabetes and the need for awareness on the disease.
Nick will also be appearing on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer in the 5PM ET/PT hour today from Washington D.C., where he is giving a speech about raising awareness of juvenile diabetes. During the interview, Nick will discuss his own battle with diabetes, how parents and kids can deal with the disease and how health care reform could impact diagnosis and treatment.
