Ashley Tisdale & Vanessa Hudgens Join Haiti Telethon!

Ashley Tisdale & Vanessa Hudgens Join Haiti Telethon

In addition to Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson, BFFs Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens are also joining the Hope For Haiti Telethon.

Thanks to EOnline, the duo are expected to be lending their support and time to the telethon set to take over every network THIS Friday @ 8PM ET/PT.

Nick Jonas revealed to MTV that he’s shuffling his own schedule to lend his time too. He shared, “Because it’s not confirmed, I can’t necessarily share it just yet. I think that the main thing to remember is we can all do something whether it’s a little bit or a lot. I’m willing and ready to help if I can in any way. I definitely feel for the people in Haiti.”

Taylor Swift also told the Tennessean that she couldn’t pass this opportunity up to help out. T shared, “I’ve never actually worked a phone bank before. But I want to do everything I can to help out this horrible situation. I’m passionate about this. This one was an immediate yes.”

The Hope For Haiti Telethon will air on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, MTV, VH-1 and CMT @ 8PM ET/PT.

Was Nick Jonas’ Rose Garden For Selena Gomez?

Was Nick Jonas’ Rose Garden for Selena Gomez?

There’s been much discussion on which girl Nick Jonas & The Administration’s song “Rose Garden” is truly about — Selena Gomez or Miley Cyrus?

Nick, 17, dished to M mag about the song, “‘Rose Garden’ is one of my favorite tracks. It is inspired by a true story. The rose garden was this young girl’s safe place. I thought I was cool that she ran to this place to feel safe.”

He also caught up with MTV to comment on the rumors floating around him and Selena since they were caught by TMZ in Chicago.

Nick shared, “[It's] not so much a surprise. The thing that’s kind of funny to me is the fact that I’m still very young, and as far as a relationship, it’s kind of young stuff, and people being interested in that is funny to me, but it’s all good. It’s flattering, and that’s how you have to look at it.”

WHO DO YOU THINK “Rose Garden” is truly about?

You might need to use tools that require adult supervision, such as glue gun and scissors. If so, these can be replaced by textile glue and safety scissors. Make sure you ask your parents some help.

This paper conversation heart wreath is a great project for your friends and siblings. It’s easy to put together and fun to display!

What you’ll need:

  • 9″ dinner plate or paper plate
  • Recycled cereal box or other thin cardboard
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Heart pattern
  • Construction paper: pink, purple, red, and blue
  • Markers, crayons or paint pens
  • Glue sticks
  • Yarn for hanger (optional)
  • Pattern

How to make it:

  1. Trace around the 9″ plate onto the cardboard. (Picture #1)
  2. Use your pen or pencil to draw another circle inside that one, about an inch away from the outside circle. (Picture #2)
  3. Cut out the circle and the center of the circle to create a cardboard wreath base. (Picture #3)
  4. Fold a piece of scrap paper in half. Using the heart pattern line up the fold line of the scrap paper with the dotted line of the pattern. Cut out the shape so that when you open it, you have a heart shape. (Picture #4)
  5. Fold the short end of a piece of construction paper up about 3 inches. Place the folded heart around the folded paper and trace the half heart shape into the paper. You should be able to fit three hearts on the paper. Repeat this step for each colored piece of paper; you will have a total of 12 hearts. (Picture #5)
  6. Cut out all the hearts and flatten out the creases so that the hearts lay flat. Using markers, crayons, or paint pens, write conversation candy phrases on the hearts such as “LOVE”, “HUBBA HUBBA”, “SWEET”, “LOVE”, “BE MINE”, “KISS” and “PAL”. (Picture #6)
  7. Arrange your hearts on top of the cardboard wreath shape without gluing them down. Once you have them where you want them, use the glue stick to attach each one. (Picture #7)
  8. You can hang the wreath as is or attach a piece of looped yarn to the back as a hanger.

Tips:

  1. Paint pens are available from your local craft supply store.
  2. Instead of construction paper, you can use colorful cardstock for this project.
  3. Construction paper provides hours of fun and stimulates your imagination!
