Mitchel Musso Counts On Mom Kathy!

Mitchel Musso pulls mom Kathy in for a big hug as part of a feature in the May 2010 issue of Family Circle magazine.

The 18-year-old multi-talented star praised his mom for being “a great cook and one of my best friends.” Mitchel relies on Kathy’s advice for just about everything, “except for girls. That would be too weird.”

Kathy shared how proud she was of her middle-born son, saying, “He’s so gentle with his fans. When he visits children in hospitals with Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus, they talk and pray with the kids — and you can tell from their faces that it means the world to them.”

Check out the other Family Circle stories on Below.

Shawn Johnson & Mom Teri Have Family Circle Support!

Shawn and Teri Johnson relax in a field in the May 2010 issue of Family Circle magazine.

Wearing a belt from 213 Industry, the 18-year-old Olympian shared of her mom, “She’s always there to cheer me up or encourage me. It’s stressful always being in high-pressure situations but that’s how I’ve learned what a caring and compassionate person my mom is.”

Shawn’s mom Teri tells the mag of her daughter, “Of course, I’m happy about her medals, but those are personal triumphs. What I love most is how she’s affects kids by being someone they can look up to.”

Jennifer Stone & Mom – Family Circle Strong!

Now we know where she gets her stunning smile!

Jennifer Stone twirls around with mom Christy in the May 2010 issue of Family Circle mag.

The 17-year-old actress shared with the mag, “My mom always tells me, ‘Be the best you can be, because there’s no one else like you.’ In a world where so many people try to emulate others to fit in and be accepted, she’s taught me to be an individual.”

Such great advice! Pick up the new issue on stand for more!

FYI: Jennifer is wearing a Dalia MacPhee jade dress with Guy and Eva necklace.

Victoria Justice & Serene Make A Family Circle!

Wearing Jessica Elliot earrings, the 17-year-old Victorious starlet is just one of the starlets showing off their supportive moms to the world.

Victoria recently caught up with JJJ to chat about the premiere of Victorious and the response she got from the screening crowd. She shared, “It was amazing. I was so nervous with all the kids watching. But they loved it and I signed autographs and pictures. The reaction was so amazing.”

Earth Day 2010 is right around the corner — April 22 — and everyone is trying to do their part to clean up and help save our planet — even celebs!

Kristen Stewart, Matt Prokop, Doug Brochu and Jennifer Stone are just four of the many celebs that are giving back. How? Check it out below:

Doug: “Five minute showers. My dad’s a huge believer in that. He’ll be pounding on the door saying, ‘5 minute showers!’ so you just get annoyed and you’re like, ‘OK, fine!’”

Kristen: “I try to recycle everything that I use. I wish I could think of a really great idea to make everyone fix the environment, but… You drive a good car and you try not to take long showers.”

Matt: “Your typical things. I recycle and turn off all the electricity when I leave and take less time in the bathroom. I take really fast showers — the little things that actually do help in the long run. Me and my friends are planning to do a lot of tree planting this summer and hopefully do all we can to really give back.”

Jennifer: “I drive a prius. That’s what I do. I [am green] in my car and I try to turn off the lights when I leave a room and use eco water bottles and things like that. There are lots of easy things that you can do, so I try to do the little things to make a big difference.”
