Monique Coleman Lights Up UNICEF!
Monique Coleman takes a hold of the giant light switch as she prepares to turn on the Christmas lights at the 2009 UNICEF Snowflake Lighting Ceremony on Rodeo Drive & Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills on Saturday evening (November 21).
The former DWTS competitor shared with the press about being chosen to light Rodeo Drive up. Monique said, “I am honored to participate in the Beverly Hills lighting ceremony by illuminating the UNICEF Snowflake. And I am proud to support UNICEF’s mission to provide immunization, education, health care, nutrition, clean water and sanitation to children in need.”
Monique lit up the famous shopping district with the Beverly Hills Snowflake which contains 12,000 Baccarat crystals, is 17 feet wide and over 14 feet tall, weighs 1,600 pounds and is illuminated by 125 steady-burning and 300 high-powered flashing LED lights. WOW!

During “Disney Channel’s New Year’s Eve Star Showdown,” your favorite Disney Channel stars will compete in five Game Show challenges: “So Random,” “Last Star Standing,” “Sound Off,” “Quick Draw” and the “New Years Eve Countdown Game.”
Viewers can log on now to DisneyChannel.com to vote for their favorite moments, episodes, and more to be a part of their hand-picked New Year’s Eve line-up. Fans will also be able to vote for their Top 10 music videos of 2009 and the songs will air on Radio Disney!

Miley Cyrus Surprises The Sparkles!
Miley Cyrus teaches some of the “Hoedown Throwdown” to Iowa cheer team The Sparkles backstage at one of her concerts.
The Sparkles, who appeared on Oprah during yesterday’s broadcast, shared their story of how they got their start and what the team has meant to the parents of the special needs children.
Miley shared in her bit, “I’m really excited to meet them. I’ve heard about everything they’ve done.”
She even brought the team out on stage with her during “The Climb!” How awesome!

Justin Bieber – Happy Thanksgiving From Germany!
Justin Bieber takes some time out to sign some autographs for his fans as he arrives at VIVA TV studios in Berlin, Germany on Thursday morning (November 26).
The 15-year-old musician spent his Thanksgiving holiday with his band in the German capital, but still managed to tweet his holiday cheer to fans. Justin shared, “Just landed in Berlin. My foot is killing me. Happy Thanksgiving to my Americans. We need to find some turkey.”
Justin took the opening act spot on gal pal Taylor Swift’s London concerts earlier this week.
Nick Jonas & The Administration – Pre-Order Who I Am!
The Jonas Brothers head into a crowd of fans as they leave NRJ radio station in Paris on Thursday morning (November 26).
Nick, Joe and Kevin wrote on their MySpace, wishing all their fans a Happy Thanksgiving.
They shared, “Hey everyone! Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We really hope this is the best day and year of your life. So many good things have happened to us this year. We continue to live our dreams and this is because of all of you.”

Nikki Reed Surprises Twilight Tweens!
Nikki Reed shows off a Nintendo DS Style Design game and poses with Vista’s Middle School own Twilight club in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (November 9).
The 21-year-old actress gave away several copies of Ubisoft’s new Style Lab Jewelry Design video game for their Nintendo DS consoles. Nikki even showed the girls how to play the game.
Taylor Swift Sweeps The CMAs!
Taylor Swift still gets amazed by her fans as she takes a moment during the 2009 CMA Awards in Nashville, Tenn., on Wednesday evening (November 11).
The 19-year-old songstress swept ALL four categories she was nominated for — Music Video, Album, Female Vocalist and ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR! Congrats, T!
Taylor said in her acceptance speech for Female Vocalist of the Year, “I just hugged Kris Kristofferson! I want to thank country radio, for taking a chance on my music a few short years ago. “The music video relates to the song in a way that a girl has so much to say to the guy, and it feels like he’s not listening, and she wants him to remember everything that they had,” the 17-year-old singer told MTV. “And so instead of having a love interest in this video, it’s all about being fierce and kind of, like, taking control as a girl. It’s like girl empowerment. Yeah, divas!”
Demi enlisted her gal pals Meaghan Martin, Chloe Bridges and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle for the video and they’re rocking the 80s vibe.

One Book A Day!
Could you imagine reading one book a day? Seems hard but one woman, Nina Sankovitch, managed to do it.
On the 29th of October she reached her goal of basically one year of reading. She had decided a year ago to read one book a day and then write a small critique on it on her blog. She has read everywhere, in the mountains, on the beach, standing, sitting, in bed….she gave up going out with friends and also gave up on her hobbies, like surfing the net and cooking exotic foods.
But she did it in the end, and read a book everyday. Of course, she read short books with 250 to 300 pages, so that her goal was realistic.
Nina, who is 46, doesn’t want to break a record or anything, just spread the word on how important it is to read. Sadly, everyday we have less time to read. Nina wanted to remind us that if you really love reading, then you will find the time to do it wherever you can.
Taylor Swift – ‘Band Hero’ Commercial Revealed!
Check out Taylor Swift’s latest commercial for the Band Hero video game, which was shot last week in Los Angeles by director Brett Ratner.
The 19-year-old country cutie slides into action, sharing the stage with Rivers Cuomo from Weezer, Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy and Travis Barker from Blink-182.
Band Hero, which is the latest game in the Guitar Hero franchise, is in stores now!

Well Nick, Joe and Kevin have found their winners!
The JoBros wrote on their MySpace page, “We are blown away by all the videos that were submitted for our ‘What Did I Do To Your Heart’ video contest. We had so much fun watching all of them, we laughed a lot and also picked up on some new dance moves! We are off to Europe this week to continue our WORLD TOUR 2009 in Europe! We are so excited to be back on tour connecting with all of our European fans!”
