Taylor Swift Spills On New Album!
So what does Taylor Swift say her next album will be about? Boys and Love of course!
The 20-year-old Nashville princess dished to MTV at the TIME 100 Gala, “[The new album] is going great actually. I’ve been writing it for the last two years, so this summer it’s all about the finishing touches and getting in there in the studio and recording the last couple songs.”
Who does she want to collaborate with next? “Jack White … ’cause he’s awesome. I love his style. I love his writing, and I think he’s an amazing player too, so any kind of collaboration there would be really awesome.”

Taylor Swift Donates $500,000 For Nashville Flood!
Taylor Swift is donating $500,000 to flood relief in Nashville, which will go directly to various flood relief organizations in the city (the flooding affected 30 people’s lives in three states).
“Being at home during the storm, I honestly could not believe what was happening to the city and the people I love so dearly,” the 20-year-old country cutie told The Associated Press via e-mail. “Nashville is my home, and the reason why I get to do what I love. I have always been proud to be a Nashvillian, but especially now, seeing the love that runs through this city when there are people in crisis.”
Added Taylor, “Please keep Nashville in your heart. Seeing a picture of the Grande Ole Opry halfway underwater was a kind of heartbreak I can’t describe.” (T-Swift moved to Nashville when she was 14.)
On June 16th, Ke$ha, a Nashville native and resident, will perform during a special flood benefit concert in Nashville.

Miranda Cosgrove recently sat down with Alloy.com to chat about her recent endeavor into the music biz.
The 16-year-old singer/actress opened up about her inspirations, her favorite song and getting to drive around in Venice in a convertible. Check it:
On her inspiration to record an album: “It’s pop rock music with my own edge. I like artists like Gwen Stefani and Pink and Madonna and all the cool girl-powered artists, so I like to think it’s something like that. I just really wanted people to be able to put the CD in and have a really good time listening to it. I have CDs like that, like Ke$ha’s new album. I love to put it on the car and dance and have a good time, so I like songs like that.”
On her favorite song on the album: “I love ‘Disgusting.’ Ke$ha actually wrote that song. It’s probably the funniest song on the album. It says ‘it’s disgusting how I love you.’ And then ‘Kissin’ U,’ the single is one of my favorites.”
On the video concept for “Kissin U”: “The whole song is about a first love, so I just wanted a fun video that had a lot of different little moments with a guy. The whole video is all around the beach so I got to be in Venice for a few days and be on the beach so that was fun. And I got to drive in a really cool convertible. People kept stopping us and were like, ‘Nice ride!’ and we were like, ‘Oh, thanks.’”
