Why Do We Laugh?

Laughing is one of the actions that makes us feel the best and healthiest. Who doesn’t love to laugh and laugh until you cry?
However, laughing is also something a bit weird, and scientist have tried to find out why we do it.
What they have found is that laughing improves the immune system and also lowers stress levels. But why do we laugh? We laugh to feel socially connected.
When we are in a group and we laugh, we share a moment with the rest of the group. It is then that we feel integrated and like we are part of something.
We babies laugh, this smile and giggle strengthens the bond between parent and child, and promotes a positive relationship.
So, though a laugh seems like something without importance and very common, it is actually one of the ways humanity connects, plus, it picks us up when we are in a bad mood.

Having Healthy Hair!

Your hair can become damaged by external forces such as the hairdryer, hard brushes, and too much washing…but, if you follow some easy steps, your hair can be looking good again in no time.
How often you wash your hair depends on if your hair is oily or dry normally. Oily hair gets dirtier faster than dry hair. You need to take a look at what kind of hair you have and wash it accordingly.
Use the right shampoo. At the store there are many shampoos and conditioners. You can find shampoos for dry, oily, straight and curly hair and even hair with dandruff…. choose the shampoo that meets your needs and if it works for you don’t change it. If you change shampoo all the time it won’t work as well.
Conditioner. This is an important product and many times we forget to use it. It will leave your hair healthy and soft. After washing your hair, apply the conditioner and let it sit for a couple minutes. Then wash it out with lots of water.
Brushing you hair. When your hair is wet it is fragile. So it is best not to brush your hair aggressively when it is wet. Instead, use a comb, pick or brush to detangle your hair and start brushing the ends first then go up to the roots as you go.
Drying your hair. You can let your hair air dry or dry it with the hair dryer. The hair dryer is the worst and really damages your hair. There are some hair dryers that use cold air to dry with, and these are better than those which use hot air.

Fear Of Public Speaking!

Many people fear public speaking whether it is in school, at the university or even in the future at work. This situation creates unnecessary and irrational fear.
Fear only serves us to avoid immediate danger and help us to flee when we need to. In the past, our ancestors needed to feel fear to stay alive. They would hear a noise in the dark at night and run to avoid a lion or another wild animal.
But in current times, extreme fear, for the most part is misused. What will happen if you misspeak while giving a presentation? Will the audience attack you? No. And we know this but we still get nervous when we have to present something in public and we start to sweat and get butterflies in our stomachs.
How to get over a fear of public speaking? Remember that you are not actually in a dangerous situation. Also, keep in mind that fear is what may trip you up when speaking in the first place. If you are sure of yourself, you will not stutter nor will your hands shake. Remember, fear is your enemy!
You can avoid all this by being very prepared for your presentation. You could even practice your speech a few times in front of friends or family to get used to hearing yourself speak out-loud.
When it is time to get on stage and speak, take a deep breath and remember, that all the people who are watching you have been in your shoes and that they have been nervous before about public speaking as well.
