Selena Gomez & The Scene Mix It Up With MyRmx!

Selena Gomez and The Scene are teaming up with myRMX to launch a new app for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

The band is putting their fans first by giving them the opportunity to re-imagine their music with myRMX and share their creations with friends and the social web. The Selena Gomez and The Scene/myRMX App will include “I Don’t Miss You At All” and “I Won’t Apologize.”

myRMX is a unique iPhone/iPod Touch experience that allows users to remix their favorite artists’ songs with a fun, intuitive interface. Users may save their mixes and share those mixes with friends via email, and by posting the sharecodes that myRMX produces on their social sites.

Selena Gomez and The Scene on myRMX for the iPhone/iPod Touch now available in the iTunes App Store for $2.99.

Jennette McCurdy’s new EP, Not That Far Away, is out on iTunes now and rising on the country charts.

The 18-year-old actress/singer dished on just why she’s not a pop princess, meeting Faith Hill at a young age and telling a story with her album. Check it:

On why she chose country over pop: “It’s always been my favorite. I found that I could relate to it more than any other genre and I felt like it was so honest. It told stories like nothing else and it spilled everything right out on the table. There’s hardly a country song that plays that doesn’t make you smile and want to dance or want to make you have a tear trickling down your cheek, so for country music to evoke those kinds of emotions, I guess that’s what drew me towards it.”

On playing Faith Hill’s daughter: “I was into Faith Hill when ‘Breathe’ came out. I love that song. When I was seven, I actually did a music video where I played her daughter and was able to talk to her and see how nice she is. She really encouraged me at a young age.”

On her album telling people who she is: “I really wanted to just be honest to myself, stay true to myself with every song and deliver a CD that I felt reflected who I am as a person and tell the stories of my life because I feel that that’s what people will relate to the most. Country music strikes a chord in peoples hearts that makes you think ‘wow! I know exactly what they’re talking about. I felt that before.’ I wanted people to be able to feel the same thing and I felt that could only be accomplished if I really wrote what I knew.”

Victoria Justice showed off her stunning smile as she chatted with Ryan Seacrest on 102.7 KIIS FM early on Wednesday morning (August 25).

The 17-year-old actress says of her show, “It’s kind of like one of the first shows Nickelodeon has done that incorporates music and we have really cool performances. [I'm] really lucky, because I honestly have so much fun everyday when I go to work.”

Victoria also dished that her music is coming along: “I’m writing a bunch of songs, which is like so much fun, and it should be released sometime next year.”

FYI: Vic insists that she is single and “looking.”

Selena Gomez Reveals ‘A Year Without Rain’ Tracklisting & New Art!

Check out another version of Selena Gomez and The Scene’s new album cover art!

Selena, 18, posted on her Facebook a few days ago the full tracklisting to their sophomore album, A Year Without Rain. She writes, “Hey Everyone– I wanted to share with you the official tracks off my upcoming album ‘A Year Without Rain’ as well as the bonus features on the deluxe album. I can’t wait for you all to hear the album.”

The deluxe edition also features CD bonus tracks: Round & Round (Dave Aude Radio Remix), A Year Without Rain (EK’s Future Classic Remix – Radio Edit), and A Year Without Rain (Spanish-language version). Plus you’ll also get a DVD with “Girl Meets World,” “Girl on Film,” behind the scenes at the photo shoot, “A Year Without Rain Video Shoot,” and both the “Naturally” and “Round and Round” music videos.

Jennette McCurdy – Music Video Premiere TONIGHT!

Jennette McCurdy hangs out in a cute little coffee shop during this behind-the-scenes look at her new music video for “Not That Far Away.”

The 18-year-old singer/actress chatted with JJJ earlier this week about her music video and working with Roman White. Jennette shared, “It was awesome. Roman was great. I think it helped a lot because he had worked with Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift and I was a nervous wreck. He helped calm my nerves a lot. I definitely learned a lot from him.”

“Not That Far Away” will premiere at 7:45PM ET/PT on both CMT and CMT.com. Nickelodeon will also feature a Just Jennette segment starting at 8PM ET/PT which will showcase the vid!

In the video, the 18-year-old actress/singer has moved from California to Nashville to pursue a singing career. JJJ chatted with Jennette about the ups and downs of both cities.

Jennette shared with us, “They both have a happening within them, and yet, they still have small town feels; that’s going to sound so weird. But you’re always running into people you know in Hollywood and in Nashville. Nashville though, is a little more low-key and relaxed. I love both places though.”

Jennette McCurdy’s new video, “Not That Far Away” is set to debut on CMT and Nickelodeon THIS Saturday, August 14th!

“Not That Far Away” is the title track of Jennette’s EP which is being released on Tuesday, August 17. Jennette co-wrote three of the four tracks too!

The new video, directed by Roman White (he did Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me”) was shot in Watertown, Tennessee.

The video will premiere at 7:45PM ET/PT on both CMT and CMT.com. Nickelodeon will also feature a Just Jennette segment starting at 8PM ET/PT which will showcase the vid!
