Eyjafjalajökull: How The Volcano Caused Chaos In Hollywood!

Behind this unpronounceable name Eyjafjällajokull, is a volcano that has caused international flight delays and lots of stress.

Because of the ask that this volcano let off, thousands of flights throughout Europe were stopped and passengers could not get to where they needed to go.

Some stranded passengers were Hollywood stars like Miley Cyrus who was not able to go to the release of The Last Song in london with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

The worldwide release of Iron Man 2 in London was also effected. They were going to release the movie on the 25 in London, but now it looks like they will have to do it in Los Angeles to avoid last minute issues.

The volcano, although it has caused many problems, is also amazing and even beautiful. As you can see in this picture, the volcano is pretty impressive. This shot is of an ash plume, with electromagnetic lightening going off in the center of it.

One of the most amazing natural sights a person can witness is the cherry blossom trees in bloom in Japan.

Thousands and Thousands of trees bloom at once leaving the countryside completely pink, like something out of a fairytale.

This beautiful scene is made even better when there is a ‘cherry blossom storm’. This happens when the wind picks up and blows the petals off the trees and into the air. It looks like it is raining petals.
