Joey King gives a great big hug to costar Julianne Moore in this new video promoting D.E.A.R. Day on Monday afternoon (April 12).

The 10-year-old actress is the official 2010 spokesperson for D.E.A.R. Day. National D.E.A.R. Day is a special reading celebration to remind and encourage families to make reading together on a daily basis a family priority.

JJJ loves that they were reading “Ramona’s World” by Beverly Cleary. Joey stars in the upcoming film, Ramona and Beezus, based on the popular book from the same author.
