Raven Symone returns to Disney Channel!

In the upcoming episode “That’s So Sonny,” the president of Chad’s (Sterling Knight) fan club, Amber (Symone) investigates why Chad’s popularity is dropping, and she learns it’s because of Sonny (Demi Lovato).

“That’s So Sonny” (which is a play on words from Raven’s former series, That’s So Raven) premieres THIS SUNDAY, August 29 @8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Chelsea Staub and Kyle Massey are fish!

Their new animated series, Fish Hooks, is set to premiere on Friday, September 24 @ 9PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

In addition, an 11-minute preview of the series will follow the premiere of Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam on Friday, September 3.

Fish Hooks follows Milo, Bea and Oscar, three best friends who live in a giant fish tank trying to navigate their way through the choppy waters of high school. Together they experience the typical life challenges and triumphs, including friendship, dating and sports, along with more atypical situations such as giant lobster attacks and, with the use of special land suits, school field trips to the hamster cages.

Taylor Swift Speaks Now – New Album Out Oct 25th!

Taylor Swift held the most exciting web chat for all her fans yesterday afternoon (July 20) — were you there?

In the chat, the 20-year-old songstress announced her new album name, new single and what else is coming up for her!

Taylor shared of her new album, Speak Now, “Saying the right thing at the right moment is so crucial that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But lately what I’ve begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything. These songs are made up of words I didn’t say when the moment was right in front of me. These songs are open letters. Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person.”

Speak Now — out October 25th — features 14 tracks, all written solely by Taylor. T also co-produced the project with Nathan Chapman, and the first single from the new record, “Mine,” will be released on Tuesday, August 16th!

D-Signed is a departure from more general entertainment-inspired tween based clothing as these items do not portray the characters likeness, instead they’re inspired by their look and personality on the hit series—the items you would find in their closet.

The Sonny Monroe collection of D-Signed ranges from $4.99 – $19.99, and includes: embellished graphic tees, skirts, dresses, pants, knit dresses, shorts, fashion tops and jackets, headbands, necklaces and bags.

This initial collection will be available for three months, followed by a second assortment of apparel and accessories from the Sonny Monroe collection available at Target just in time for the holidays. Future collections of D-Signed will include fashions based on the style of other popular Disney Channel characters including Alex Russo played by Selena Gomez on Wizards of Waverly Place.

D-Signed available only at Target stores nationwide and Target.com on August 1st.

Demi Lovato cutely waves to the crowd as she performs during the Shop Til You Rock tour at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, Calif., on Saturday afternoon (July 17).

The 17-year-old powerhouse singer is the official spokesperson for the tour and will also be at the North Point Mall — July 24 (Atlanta, Georgia) and Stonebriar Centre — August 1 (Dallas, Texas).

Keke Palmer Graduates!

Congrats, Keke Palmer!

The 16-year-old True Jackson VP starlet has graduated from High School via Home School Program Options for Youth curriculum one year early! Such a big accomplishment!

Keke is currently hard at work on her television series and her debut album with Interscope Records. Expect Keke’s new record to be released in the fall!

Although she’s into music, movies and television, Keke still hopes that Harvard is in her future.

Bridgit Mendler and Jason Dolley are locked and loaded for a staring contest in this new video for Disney’s Friends For Change.

In the brand-new video, the Good Luck Charlie, Sonny with a Chance, Suite Life on Deck and Wizards of Waverly Place casts emphasize the importance of going green.

One thing Bridgit shared with us during the shoot about going green was, “I totally watched this on TV last year and to be apart of this is so cool. It’s really all the little things you do. My biggest pet peeve is leaving the light on when you’re not in a room. I have to be the one to turn the lights off; you know, use less water, recycle when you can…all that little stuff.”

Malia & Sasha Obama Have A Suite Life!

The numbers are in for the premiere of JONAS L.A.!

Starring the Jonas Brothers, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson, the second season premiere ranked as TV’s No. 1 series for the week in Kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.2 million/4.8 rating), and cable’s No. 1 entertainment series in Total Viewers (3.3 million).

Together with Sonny With a Chance, the series beat out a re-run of Nickelodeon’s Victorious and Big Time Rush in in key kids demos by 30% in Kids 6-11 (1.3 million vs. 1.0 million) and by 67% in Tweens 9-14 (1.3 million vs. 762,000).
