Nick Jonas batters up as he joins the LA Dodgers Spring training camp at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona on Friday afternoon (March 12).

The 17-year-old musician dished to JJJ that he was heading to spring training at the 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. He also promised a tour announcement very, very soon.

Nick sported a custom Dodgers jersey and own bat that was especially made for him.

WHAT DO YOU THINK of Nick as a baseball player?

You might need to use tools that require adult supervision, such as glue gun and scissors. If so, these can be replaced by textile glue and safety scissors. Make sure you ask your parents some help.

Proudly display these darling lucky blocks where everyone can see them this St. Patrick’s Day!

What you’ll need:

  • 5 wooden blocks
  • Light green and green acrylic paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Gold paint pen
  • White or clear glitter glue

How to make it:

  1. Paint three of the blocks green and the other two blocks light green and let dry. (Picture #1)
  2. Use a gold paint pen to write the letters L, U, C, K, and Y, one on each block. (Picture #2)
  3. Squeeze some glitter glue on to the top of each block and spread out with a paintbrush. (Picture #3) Use the brush and excess glitter glue from the top to add glitter to the sides and front as well. Let dry completely.

Tips:

  1. Wood blocks are available at your local craft supply store.
  2. Children’s alphabet blocks can be used for this project. Simply paint and go over the raised letters with gold paint pen.
  3. The color green is associated with St. Patrick’s Day because it is the color of spring, Ireland, and shamrocks.
