Channeling a bit of Jesse McCartney on the cover of Parade magazine, Nick Jonas chills out in the back of a car on the cover of the newest issue of the mag.

The 17-year-old musician chatted with the mag about going solo, who he really is and his famous romances. Check it:

On his brothers being with him through everything: “We make decisions together—even when we’re doing things individually. Going into my first solo album, it’s good to know that they were excited. There’s been a good vibe from the get-go.”

On his on-again off-again romance with Selena Gomez: “It’s a lot more boring than anyone wants to think.”

On the true meaning of “Who I Am”: “That song is about someone loving me for who I am. It’s saying that it’s important for me to be comfortable with myself first. One of the biggest things I think people struggle with, even at my age, is self-confidence—feeling comfortable in their skin and wanting to find someone who loves them for that.”

Nick Jonas Checks In With Another Simple Win!

Nick Jonas has another simple win under his belt. Check out what the 17-year-old musician wrote on his blog:

“Another busy month is coming to an end. This month I went back into production of JONAS, finished my first side project tour with Nick Jonas and the Administration and released my new album, Who I Am.

“Thank you to all for supporting my side project, your support put my album at #3 release week! I could have never accomplished that without the support of the fans, thank you so much. I had such a great time touring with The Administration and introducing the world to my new music. This is just the beginning of much more to come.

“Production began this month on the 2nd season of JONAS. The writers have come up with some really good story lines for this season, should be a fun time shooting it all. In fact we have been shooting 5 days a week so it keeps me very busy. Personally can’t wait for everyone to see it.

“I hope that everyone is watching the Olympics. It is so inspiring to watch the various athletes and see how all their hard training and perseverance pays off. My Simple Win this month: Using my new CONTOUR® USB meter during my hectic schedule. It makes it easy to keep track of all my levels by simply plugging it into my computer.

Selena Gomez promotes Borden Milk once again in this new TV spot.

The 17-year-old actress lures viewers in with her fresh attitude and shares, “Let me guess? You’re bored with your milk, right? I get it. Generic milk can be so ordinary. Whatever happened to flavor?”

It was just announced this morning that Selena would be jumping into a role in the upcoming Monte Carlo with Nicole Kidman producing.

Nick Jonas takes a moment to compose himself as he’s overwhelmed with fans at Santa Monica Pier on Tuesday afternoon (February 2).

The 17-year-old musician, who’s new album, Who I Am, dropped today, announced the news of where he would be on Twitter — and walked into a huge crowd of female fans. Nick tweeted, “That was amazing! Heading to SHERMAN OAKS to do it again! Go to Mark’s Garden or watch on my Facebook webcast!”

Starlets Brenda Song and Selena Gomez are just two of the celebrities speaking up in Disney Channel’s new “Express Yourself” shorts.

The upcoming 60-second interstitials will feature one coinciding with kids, families and educators’ discussions surrounding the Haiti earthquake.

Featuring the message “Join the world as we shine a light on Haiti,” the shorts have themes of connection, empowerment, compassion, outreach and being a part of a global community.

The “Express Yourself” shorts will start airing TODAY, February 2 on Disney Channel, Disney XD and YouTube.

Keeping things quiet and private, Nick Jonas sort of opened up to MOD this afternoon was questioned about his relationship with pal Selena Gomez.

The 17-year-old musician commented, “I think when it comes to that I try to keep it a bit to myself and keep it a bit private. We always try to find time to go out and hang out with people we enjoy spending time with and as far as that future of that relationship goes I will keep that to myself for right now.” Smart guy!

Nick also shared about his future run for president, “I think it’s fun. I think it started off as a joke but now I feel it’s becoming a bit more serious and starting my campaign now. It would be fun to be president. We’ll see what happens…I don’t know if it will be fun. It would be a big challenge I think.”

Ashley Tisdale & Vanessa Hudgens Join Haiti Telethon!

In addition to Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson, BFFs Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens are also joining the Hope For Haiti Telethon.

Thanks to EOnline, the duo are expected to be lending their support and time to the telethon set to take over every network THIS Friday @ 8PM ET/PT.

Nick Jonas revealed to MTV that he’s shuffling his own schedule to lend his time too. He shared, “Because it’s not confirmed, I can’t necessarily share it just yet. I think that the main thing to remember is we can all do something whether it’s a little bit or a lot. I’m willing and ready to help if I can in any way. I definitely feel for the people in Haiti.”

Taylor Swift also told the Tennessean that she couldn’t pass this opportunity up to help out. T shared, “I’ve never actually worked a phone bank before. But I want to do everything I can to help out this horrible situation. I’m passionate about this. This one was an immediate yes.”

The Hope For Haiti Telethon will air on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, MTV, VH-1 and CMT @ 8PM ET/PT.

There’s been much discussion on which girl Nick Jonas & The Administration’s song “Rose Garden” is truly about — Selena Gomez or Miley Cyrus?

Nick, 17, dished to M mag about the song, “‘Rose Garden’ is one of my favorite tracks. It is inspired by a true story. The rose garden was this young girl’s safe place. I thought I was cool that she ran to this place to feel safe.”

He also caught up with MTV to comment on the rumors floating around him and Selena since they were caught by TMZ in Chicago.

Nick shared, “[It's] not so much a surprise. The thing that’s kind of funny to me is the fact that I’m still very young, and as far as a relationship, it’s kind of young stuff, and people being interested in that is funny to me, but it’s all good. It’s flattering, and that’s how you have to look at it.”
